23.02.2011 Agen: Our Villa Les Jacobins was one of a kind. The boss was about 1.30 m in height, very slim and about 80 and quite a resolute personality. She was very strict with her employees. The hotel did actually used to be a villa. We were on the third floor. Wooden portholes were in front of the windows and the rooms had old-fashioned beds. There was no Internet access and we could only make phone calls if we reversed the charges to Germany. But even that didn't work. Nevertheless we slept well - to some extent also because the mattresses were slightly older. We were given breakfast in the parlour on the ground floor. A price of ?80 per night and person is not exorbitant and includes a friendly farewell too.
