Since I went hang-gliding for the first time in 1987, I’ve had the aviation bug big time. It’s absolutely fascinating to see how everything gets smaller from above – up in the skies is where I really relax.

The flight around the world in 2007 was a huge aviation challenge.
The meteorological obstacles in the different climate zones were excellent preparation for the flight round Africa and the current flight to South and North America which will entail new experiences and above all confront us with different people and their cultures.
